In September 2024, our manufacturing plant in Wunsiedel faced an unexpected challenge when a fire incident disrupted operations. However, thanks to the dedication of our incredible team and suppliers, we are pleased to announce another significant milestone on our journey back to full capacity.
After an extensive 8-week refurbishment, we successfully restarted another kiln—one week ahead of schedule. This achievement not only reinforces our commitment to operational excellence but also increases our production capacity by approximately 1,200 insulators per month. Additionally, the upgraded kiln is now remotely accessible, improving efficiency and supporting our sustainability goals.
To mark this important moment, Toni Franco and Herbert Auer had the honor of igniting the kiln, symbolizing our continuous progress. However, the true credit goes to our dedicated team and trusted suppliers who worked tirelessly to make this possible.
