On September 10th, ITG’s Lapp Wunsiedel manufacturing site experienced a fire, which resulted in partial damage to the facility. Our foremost priority has been to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees, and we are grateful that no employees were harmed.

We wish to extend our profound gratitude to the emergency response teams whose tireless efforts were instrumental in managing the situation and mitigating its impact. Their swift and efficient work has been invaluable, starting in the early morning hours when the incident began. The entire ITG team is deeply appreciative of their contributions.

We also wish to highlight the exceptional support provided by the local and regional authorities. Their unwavering assistance has been remarkable, through rapid responses and a strong commitment to collaborative efforts for the future of the site.

We are committed to re-industrializing the Wunsiedel site, as it is the ideal location for our operations. We will collaborate with our employees and all relevant parties to expedite this process. Our goals are to strengthen our production capabilities, reinforce our technological leadership, and enhance our research and development efforts.
